The most entertaining reading I've experienced in quite some time! I just love the "Bless it" remark. You're so right when you say it carries a different meaning here in the south. Our grandmothers must have known each other~mine said the same thing! Micah, if you wrote a book, there's no doubt it would be one you just couldn't put down! Have you ever given it any thought? I LOVE IT!
There's an awesome Leonard Cohen song that starts off, "If it be your will that I speak no more and my voice be still, as it was before; I will speak no more, I shall abide until I am spoken for, if it be your will." How terrific that a song exists with the exact message a lot of us mothers need: to stay quiet until our advice is requested. I confess extreme weakness in this area, but I'm working on it. Thanks, Micah, for nailing many of us right where we need it.
